Project 1

Case Study and Documentation of Building Service Systems

In this project , in a group of 6 people, we are required to choose a building of at least for storey which must located in Malaysia and the building must be either public or commercial buildings. each group is to perform a study and analysis of the following services systems associated to the building such as the mechanical ventilation and air conditioning system, electrical supply system, mechanical transportation system and also fire protection system and document ll the finding or analysis accordingly.in this project our group choose SS two mall as the building to get the information and analysis.

                                                  

After go through this project, I've learned how to identify and also understand about the information of how the water supply to the building, electrical, how mechanical ventilation and air conditioning work in a building and also how the fire protection systems work, On the other hand we also explain the principles and systems as well as space implications and regulations related to different building services.


Project 2

Application Of Building Services

In this project, we bring back our Architectural design studio 2 final project which relates to a domestic size building. Students are expected to express or demonstrate the understanding of building services by proposing and designing the most appropriate systems for the building which include, electrical supply system ( Split unit air-condition ) , cold water and hot water supply system, sewerage and sanitary system and also drainage system. The design of this studio 2 final project i a retreat house that design for a retreat house in Pantai Kerachut.


                       

 After go through this project, I've learned how to identify relevant information related to water supply system, liquid waste disposal, fire safety, mechanical air conditioning, and vertical transportation system. In this project, I  plan to describe the planning and also the installation of the building services into the design and the construction process.
