Project 1 : Green- Go 2013 International Short Film Contest
First project of ESD ( Environmental Sustainable Design ) is we are require to create a short film base as aim to encourage us to use our talent to raise awareness of contemporary environmental and social issues artistically. We were require to use an interesting issue or problem that happen in this world, for example, Global warming, animal extinction and etc. this project also enhance our creativity by providing us with an opportunity to take part in international competition.In this project i choose animal extinction as my issue for the short film. Animal extinction is the hot issue that we really need to look into. Animal extinction will give affect to environment and existing of that animal.
In this project, the objective is for us to increase awareness of current environmental issues locally and globally. then to explore the local and global context of growth and therefore realizing the relationship between growth and it's impact on the environment.

Reflection :
From this project, I've achieved some point of the learning outcomes. for example, recognize the effect growth on the environment. Then, I've learnt how to solve an issue or problem in this world. This project also make me realize that how important environment for people outside and us. In my conclusion we need to take care of our environment and love the environment. Lastly, this project also has told me that killing animal is not a reason for people to live.
Project 2 : Appreciating Environment - Nothing Is Considered Waste
In a group of four, we need to do site visit for this project. we allow to choose our site visit by ourselves, and we choose SS3 and Petaling jaya area as our site. In this project, we are require to produce and art work from the waste material and Analysis board about The LCA ( Life Cycle Analysis ) of waste material in construction site.
The construction industry consumes huge amounts of natural resources and produces a significant quantity of construction and demolition waste. Construction waste can be considered as the main factor that can give serious impact to the environment. this construction waste issue is one of the serious problem that we really need to look into. most of the construction waste is just simply left in the surrounding and end as rubbish.it's only increasing the burden on landfill loading. some of the material that came from construction waste which the material contain the chemical thing that can give impact to the environment for example water pollution and soil. From this case, we need to learn that construction waste, we suppose to recycle them if the thing still can recycle and if not send it back to the factory to reproduce from the waste and reuse it.
This project contain objectives that need to introduce basic awareness and environmental stress. Then to expose us to general construction material wastage. on the other hand is to create the awareness relating environmental issues relating to construction issues, such as landfill, non-degradable waste, water pollution. Besides that we also require to create and understanding of the impact of non-reusing or recycling construction waste. Lastly is to allow us to demonstrate our understanding and knowledge of material life cycle and recycling creatively.
Reflection :
From this project two, I've learnt how to explain innovative and creative method that can be adopted in reducing and recycling material and also recognize role and responsibility of an architect towards environment and society. this project also has told me that how important the construction waste for us to reuse or recycle. from the construction waste we can create some art work and also can create some useful thing for example book rack, table lamp, and also some kind of interesting sculpture. This project is an interesting and fun project, because in this project we are allow to express our creativity to create an art work or sculpture from construction waste. In my conclusion, construction waste is very important for us to reuse it or recycle it and also recycle material is more cheaper than usual material. Lastly, a statement that come out in my mind for this project is " If still can use it why not?".
