Project 1 : Architecture Heritage Building Analysis
In a group of 4 people, we are require tho choose a building that located in Port Klang area, because Klang is one of the oldest town or state in Klang valley or Selangor. There got some list of the heritage building in Port Klang and we choose Royal Klang Club as our Heritage building for us to analyse. this project also require us to identify different architectural elements that the heritage building contained and also the functional needs of local community to that building. and we require to produce a report book about the analysis of this Heritage building ( Royal Klang Club)
Project 1 objectives is to describe the development of the main stands of western architecture over the last 200 years, Then to identify some of the issues involved in the inter-relationship between theory and design as exemplified in various historical periods and places. after that, we need to interpret the architectural language in relation to development of western architecture between industrial revolution and post world war 2. on the other hand, we also require to have ability to differentiate the way in which many varies factors contribute to the development of form. Then, we suppose to identified or compare how architects have used architectural language in various historical periods and places. On the other hand we needs to analyse the broad issues which inform the development of architecture between industrial revolution and post world war 2.
Reflection :
Throughout this project, I've learnt how to indicate and identified the architectural element of a building. This project also kind of an interesting project because from this project we can learn a lot of thing from the past and bring it to the future to develop. we also learn some new architectural style that we never know before. Then in this project also force us to do research on the heritage building inside and outside the building so we can learn about all the architectural element inside and outside the building. we also get some interesting information about the changes of the building. for example in British colonial era that some architectural style exist in this heritage building and after taken by Malaysian government they do renovation to the building which contain different style and add new architectural style and element to it. On the other hand our heritage building didn't contain a lot of architectural element, so we needs to do research and identify what kind of style and architectural element that contain in this heritage building through our visual or the photo taken by us and some photo from internet. Lastly, from this project I've Improved my skill to identify what kind of architectural element and some architectural style.
Project 2 : Presentation Board
Project two is a project which linked to project one. this project is require us to produce one handdrawn A3 presentation board. This project is individual work. so from the first project our group is divided by four and each people do different part. we are allow to choose what kind of part we want to do. For example, site context and user, architectural element, changes and responses. I choose architectural element to do further analysis. From our observation and research, we need to show what kind of style, component and the element that content in the heritage building.

Reflection :
Through out this project, I've learn how to identified an architectural style that contain in a building and how to read the architectural style and architectural element that the building contain. In this project, i also improved my drawing skill and also my skill to read the concept and ,material that used by the building. in my conclusion, in every era or decades there will be always have new architectural style that come out in this architecture world. Lastly, most of the Malaysia Heritage building built before world war 2, because in my opinion that Malaysia is one of the country that have impact from world war 2.
